We purchased our yurts from Pacific Yurts and followed the manufacturer's guidelines and installation details. We opted for post and beam frame and tongue and groove decking. Once you have assembled your yurt, this basic design for a 24 foot yurt interior with details for interior layout, lighting and power plans, plus exterior deck framing drawings. This design maximizes the use of the 450 sqft floor plan boasting a fully functioning 1 bedroom yurt floor plan, with a full bathroom, kitchenette, living and office area plus a full-size bedroom with walk-in closet. The design includes operable windows that can be installed directly into the frame and canvas of the walls and weatherproofed. A vermicomposting toilet and a grey water drainage system complete this fully functioning home and the exterior decks add extra sqft to create a beautiful outdoor experience while off-grid power keeps the lights and power running throughout the year. We will continue to add more photos and designs as we complete the final stages to include weatherproofing of our yurts.
